Recalls and current investigations by state
Explore two different FDA signals without mixing them: recall-product distribution and current outbreak investigations with reported illnesses in a state.
How counts work: Red = recall events whose products were distributed into the state. Amber = current FDA CORE investigations reporting illnesses in the state. These are different measures and are never added together. Nationwide recalls are included in every state. Investigation product distribution alone does not count as an illness location.
Red number = confirmed recall distribution events Orange number = active investigations with confirmed illness states Highlighted state = your detected/selected state
BOTH shows the two current signals separately; they are not added and are not a risk score.
